2015 KTM 1290 Super Duke R. It’s big, it’s fast, and it ain’t a beauty. As Loz Blain mentions in his review, “if you turn off the traction A physically large bike, it is perfectly happy to have soft panniers fitted and go on a longer trip. Obviously, wind blast is an issue as it lacks any fairing or screen, but keep the speed down and you can certainly cover miles on the Duke. But is this what KTM really intended for it? Probably not…

I purchased the cannister removal kit for a 2015 KTM 1290 Super Duke R that already had the SAS removal and the Akrapovic full sytem and map installed. The kit installed easily, removed the fuel tank, followed the Rottweiler video on You Tube and the whole job was done in less than an hour.

The 1290 Super Duke is a bike I love and now the EVO version has electronic suspension! But the question is it worth the extra 2k over the standard version?
